This is Saragh's Grandma in about 1950. People's wardrobes were completely different than what we wear today. They did not wear mini skirts or tank tops.

In this picture you can see that the young woman is wearing a fancy dress at a Gold and Green Ball.

In pioneer times women usually wore long skirts and dresses, long sleeve shirts, aprons and sometimes hats or bonnets.
